The OttawaValley Grass Bluegrass Music Association
The Ottawa Valley Bluegrass Music Association (Valley 'Grass) is a registered (1987), non-profit organization, with our prime purpose being to preserve and promote bluegrass music in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.  

​ Our current membership of 200+ families, includes fans, musicians, promoters, vendors, and friends of bluegrass music.  Valley 'Grass activities include:
  • Providing and promoting opportunities for bluegrass musicians, promoters and fans to meet, interact, socialize, network and play music
  • Providing and promoting opportunities for bluegrass bands, especially those from Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, to perform and entertain fans and newcomers to the genre
  • Promoting, advertising and assisting bluegrass events over a wide area, but especially in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec
  • Informing members of news, information and happenings in the Ontario, North American and World-wide bluegrass and related music communities
  • Cooperating and working with other organizations in Ontario, Canada and North America (which have similar purposes with respect to bluegrass and related forms of music) in organizing, operating and promoting bluegrass-related events and activities
